Objectives

  1. Increase the ability, intelligence and autonomy for a new generation of mobile robots operating in aquatic environments.
  2. Investigate the three phases of distributed perception (detection, measurement and cognitive).
  3. Increase of awareness allowed by a robust distributed perception system.
  4. New robotic solutions for inspection of marine structures.
  5. Contribute for the dissemination of the scientific and technological excellence of the Portuguese Institutions.
